Main tasks Reporting to the Quality Control and working closely with the production team, the incumbent should expect to: Perform pre-operational checks before going into production Perform (anatomical) checks on the production line Perform inspection of pig carcasses and offal on the production line Sampling using a knife Locate, identify and report pathologies and defects Communicate non-conformities to the various stakeholders. Main responsibilities Coordinate all the work of maintenance staff on a daily basis. Plan the workforce needs of your department; Supervise the maintenance team and manage labor relations, health and safety as well as absenteeism; Develop and communicate the various reports on performance indicators; Ensure that equipment is maintained in good condition, safe and operational, otherwise, plan for its replacement; Supervise maintenance workshop and parts management activities. Ensure that your team respects safe work practices according to current standards and regulations; Ensure that production meets established quality standards including HACCP and GMP; Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities in order to optimize overall work efficiency; Develop the equipment maintenance program; (e.g. trouble shooting, automation, electronics, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotics, welding); Ensure that the certifications required for all activities of the maintenance department are maintained; Participate in and implement maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
